Last night I have one of the worst nightmares I ever had in my freakin' life. I woke up terrified, seriously. So much, I couldn't stand stay at bed. To make everything worse, there was this eerie silence... I always sleep with music, but, somehow the music had stopped and... ummmh... yeah... Have I told you I was freaking scared?

By then (4 a.m. in the morning) I was able to go back to bed again, and, of course, sleep too much. *facepalms*

He and Isaac Asimov were my SciFi gods, the ones who take me to so many places and times, so differents futures, so many possibilities...
Now, I've been left totally alone :_(

Hello, boys and girls!!!
Now, after fighting with teeth and nails against the evils informatics gods, I'm, finally, writing from my dear, beloved pc.
Yesterday, after a rush of burning DVDs to back-up everything, I installed the new motherboard. Which, of course, as it wasn't the same but a new and shinny one, couldn't accept my previous Windows XP installation. So... as I didn't want to overwrite the previous one, I needed to be a little er... creative.
What I did was, 1º formatted a smaller disk in the borrowed Pc, and used that to install Windows in mine. 2º Installed my master disk as slave, to be able to see it, and change the name of all of my folders. 3º took off the smaller one, attached my big C:/ as master again, and installed in it Windows again...
Of course, then I needed to install all my software too, but! I still have all my passwords, my sessions in FireFox, my partial torrents downloads and everything else, and I could resort all of that.
All of this meant, of course, I barely slept last night and the night before and, as right now are almost 5:30 in the afternoon, and in about 3 hours my house is gonna be the usual mess it is every Saturday night (beer, pizza and movies, we're stunningly originals, aren't we?) I think I'm not gonna be able to do a lot of... nothing, actually, til tomorrow.
So, I'll be here tomorrow morning - not to early - trying to catch up with all of you.
tes if you posted more Prophecy, I'm sorry, but I'll be back to spork calmly discuss Cassandra. And it wouldn't be a bad thing if you'd posted some more of your fic, either =D

Today arrived my new motherboard, and this was the last piece I needed to totally recover my PC. *does crazy, happy, dance*

So, of course, right now I'm in a rush to burn all that I have in this one, and back-up everything and OMG! I've been doing that all afternoon and yet, I have more than 100 Gb to burn *headdesk*
But, hey! My Pc is back!!!!!!
Well, as soon as I finished the back-up part, LOL!

Why I'm not surprised?
They stop offering Basic accounts since yesterday, without warning, of course!
So, you'll be forced to use the Plus Account (with lots of annoying ads) or migrate. I have my IJ account, I was ready to migrate but the point is... I want to be were my friends are...
So, here is the deal, I have a Plus Account since a lot of time... with not ads. How is that possible? If you have FireFox, everything is possible, LOL! There is this wonderful add-on named adblock plus I can't recommend enough. Upgrade to Plus and USE IT!

My home Pc? Is dead. Burned out.
Just now, in the worst moment, when I have no money to replace all burned pieces. And, as I use it as my tool for extra incomes...well, you get the point.
So, I'm gonna be a little out of touch, as I only can access at work now. And I only work at mornings, so... yeah...
Damn!
And just now, when I'll be able to really enjoy some free time, as the flow of work always slowed at this time, and I was planning to catch up with TV shows and music, and fics...
Of course, I do all of the above with my Pc.
Which is dead.
